Sree Velavan College of Education, Melpakkam Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District, academic excellence was founded by the great efforts of Mr.K.P.RATHNAM, B.Sc, on 2009. It has been started under the auspices of our Shri Subramaniasamy Educational Trust. Mr.K.P.RATHNAM, B.Sc, is the Chairman of this Institution.

This institution has been approved by the NCTE and is affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai, and which is situated 2Km away from Tindivanam Junction on the Main Road from Thiruvannamalai to Chennai. Our college strives to generate quality teachers. Our college has good infrastructure facilities to stimulate the spirit of curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities among the students.
